ROMANTIC
ROOM
LUTEUM
Welcome to Luteum, our romantic room. In this room you can still appreciate the original yellow color of the walls. Thus the Latin name meaning ochre, gold, a color reminiscent of the Cilentana Broom, a perennial plant, a symbol of courage and endurance and a source of inspiration for many poets and travelers.
A special feature of the room is the small window that becomes a picture in which to admire the blazing colors of a breathtaking panorama.
ARMIDA
Welcome to Armida, our romantic room. The suite is named after Torquato Tasso's masterpiece Gerusalemme Liberata. Special features of the room are the wooden beams that contrast with the mirrored walls and the painting depicting Rinaldo, completely subjugated by the sorceress Armida and transformed by her into a love slave. When Armida walks away, the two crusader warriors introduce themselves to Rinaldo and shake him out of his stupor by scolding him for forgetting his warrior duties to indulge in the pleasures of love. The scene depicts the contrast between the power of seduction and the call to military and religious duties that will prevail over the flattery of the sorceress.
